Taylor grew up in Augusta, Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia, he worked as a personal banker in Greensboro, Georgia. He pretty quickly decided that was not the career path for him, so he grew a beard and set on the journey of becoming a Master Brewer. He was an assistant brewer at Triangle Brewing Company in Durham, North Carolina, for two years. In 2014, he was selected as head brewer for Brewery 85 in Greenville, South Carolina. 2017 was a big year for Taylor: In addition to opening Oconee Brewing Company, he and his wife, Michelle, welcomed their first child, Leo, in March!

Leslie Tillery Media Coordinator
She wanted her title to be “media empress” but was voted down. She is a graduate of Georgia State University, with a degree in English. Her voice (and laugh) can be heard in most of our videos. Her beagle and her husband also make occasional OBC social media appearances. She’s a behind the scene kind of gal, but her work makes a big bang!
